Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the steps that you should follow in descaling your machine:
- Make sure that you empty out all remaining water from the machine before starting the descaling process.
- Use around 700cc of hot or cold water, mix it with one packet of citric acid or white vinegar, and put the water into the bottle (most water calcification will precipitate on the bottom of the water tank, so 700cc is enough. Also, using hot water will get the citric acid to dissolve quickly).
- Place the bottle into the inlet of the water tank, empty the water into the machine, remove the bottle and close it with the red cap.
- Plug in your machine and push on the power switch to let it heat up and wait until the indicator light comes on (if you use hot water, the heating time should be around 5 mins, and if you use cold water, it should be around 8 mins).
- Once it’s heated, turn off the power switch and press down the red cap, using a cloth to avoid the steam, and relieve the pressure.
- Remove the red cap and empty the contents down the drain (before you remove the red cap, make sure there is no steam coming out from the machine).
- After emptying the water tank, pour clear water again into the machine to remove all calcification. You can refer to this video.

This is a commercial grade cold water extractor perfect for auto detailing or cleaning houses or furniture. The machine includes both an upholstery head perfect for upholstered car seats and carpets and also a wider floor head that is mounted on a stainless steel vacuum pole enabling you to use the machine on larger areas such as rooms. The canister design allows easier mobility and is mounted on easy motion casters and two lateral fixed wheels and with a 9 foot long hose getting an and around the average vehicle is effortless. The powerful 1100 vacuum motor is isolated with it's own switch, and the water pump has it's own dedicated switch too, this allows the operator to stop the water flow when necessary or visa versa stop the vacuum and just spray...making it versatile. Different from a shampooer, this extractor has two separate removable compartments or water reservoirs, one for clean solution and one for dirty water. These compartments are removable, so they're easy to empty or fill with warm or cold water. The machine is light enough to be hand carried (although we don't recommend carrying it full of water!) and it's small enough to fit into a compact car or a small truck. Perfect for the mobile auto detailing community.
It is very important that you use distilled water or ‘pure’ water in the machine at all times, this will prevent calcification (this is the same with all steamers).
First, you need to vacuum the carpet or upholstery to remove any particles like dust or debris.
Over the past 10 years the best practices that has emerged from mobile auto detailers involves using a detergent mixed with water in a spray bottle spraying this mixture on the carpet and using a drill bit brush to agitate the pile. Then use the clean water from the extractor to remove the dirt.... you wont' believe your eyes when you see the dirt being sucked away.
Descale your machine regularly. We recommend every month or so.
We recommend keeping the water in your extractor clean and without detergents.
You can use any brand of liquid or powdered non-foaming carpet cleaning detergent. We recommend LA's ""The Totally Awesome""... it's inexpensive and can be found in most Dollar $ General Stores.
The Aqua Pro Steamer has a rating of 120 volts.
If you're dealing with a heavy duty stain then it's recommended to first spot clean the stain with a concentrated cleaning solution in a spray bottle before doing an overall clean with the Aqua Pro Vac. Leave it to sit on the carpet for a minute and then complete two passes with the machine. This will give you greater success of removing the stain completely.
Regarding your question about the temperature, here's the information you need to know about the Aqua Pro Steamer:
1. Water boils at 100 degrees C and at higher than 100 degrees C it turns to steam. Normally the temperature will be 95~100 degrees C at the outlet of the handle.
2. Our boiler (water tank) has a set temperature of 140 ~145 degrees C ( around 287 F), when that temperature is reached, the green indicator light will be ON and the vapor and steam pressure can reach 4 bar (50PSI).
3. The steam flows through the pipe and hose when actuated and the temperature will gradually decrease, condensing some of the vapor into water droplets by the longer pipe.
When you're done cleaning the carpet, upholstery or stairs grab the spray nozzle and hold it over the removable recovery tank on the vacuum cleaner and hold down the trigger to release the remaining solution until it is empty. Then switch off the pump and disconnect the spray hose. Next, disconnect the vacuum hose. Empty the solution tank and recovery tank and rinse clean. Then clean off nozzles and hoses with water and put the Aqua Pro Vac away until its next use.
