Safety-Enhanced Kevlar Lower Section

The lower part of the pole—the section you grip during operation—has been reinforced with an extra layer of DuPont™ Kevlar®. This material is woven directly into the carbon-fiber structure, providing you with enhanced strength, an added layer of protection, and improved resistance to the routine bumps and minor impacts that occur on job sites. This Kevlar layer also offers a valuable additional safeguard if the pole momentarily and accidentally touches an electrical source like an overhead power line.

The Kevlar reinforcement does not make the pole safe for use near high-voltage lines or any significant electrical hazards.
