Safety-Enhanced Kevlar Base Section

The lower section of the carbon pole, where your hands are placed during use, includes an added DuPont™ Kevlar® layer woven into the carbon fiber. This helps reinforce the section that gets handled most often and adds protection against common bumps and contact during regular use around the home. It also provides an extra layer during brief accidental contact with certain electrical touchpoints, such as overhead cables. Even with the Kevlar-wrapped base section, the pole is still primarily made from carbon fiber, which conducts electricity. The Kevlar layer does not make the pole safe to use near live wires or major electrical hazards. Always keep a safe distance from power lines and any electrical source during operation.
