Quick Answer:
To install the fuse and flow control knob, remove the parts bag from inside the Filter Basket under the Tank Cap. Insert the red fuse housing into the slot next to the power port until it sits flush. Align the silver knob so the notch points UP, then press it firmly onto the adjacent knob post until it turns freely.
Locating the Parts
Before you start the installation, you’ll need to find the parts bag. It is stored inside the filter basket under the tank cap.
Parts Check
- 1x Fuse Holder (Red Housing)
- 2x Fuses (1 for use, 1 spare)
- 1x Flow Control Knob (Silver)

How to Install the Red Fuse Housing
Follow these steps to activate the electrical system:
-
Locate the fuse and red fuse housing.
Take the red housing out of the parts bag. If the fuse is not already installed in the housing, insert one fuse until it snaps or pops into place. Do not use force.
-
Locate the Slot
Find the open slot on the side of the tank next to the power port (where the charger plugs in). On some models, this slot may be covered by a small hinged flap—open it if necessary.
-
Insert Housing
Slide the Red Fuse Housing into the slot. Press firmly until the housing is fully seated and sits flush against the tank surface.
-
Verify Fit
The fuse housing should feel secure and should not wobble or slide back out. The water tank is now ready for charging and use.
If the tank fuse is in place and the battery is charged but the tank does not turn on, check to make sure the metal filament of the fuse is intact. If it is broken or burnt, replace it with an identical amperage fuse. There is a spare in the accessory bag.
How to Attach the Flow Control Knob
The control knob allows you to adjust water pressure during operation.
-
Locate the knob.
Take the Silver Flow Control Knob from the parts bag and rotate it so the notch is pointing UP.
-
Find the knob post on the tank.
Locate the Knob Post located on the side of the tank next to the power port (where the charger plugs in).
-
Insert the knob onto the post.
While keeping the notch pointing UP, press the knob firmly onto the knob post.
-
Check installation.
Rotate the knob left and right to ensure it turns freely without wobbling or sliding off. You can now control the water output.
If the Flow Control Knob feels loose or falls off, check the alignment. The notch must face UP before pressing it onto the knob post. Do not force the knob if it is misaligned.
